Frequently Asked Questions
MoonsPong is like the classic game of pong, but played with rockets and a moon! Players can wager bets against each other on who will win the match using the $MOON token,
When will MoonsPong be released?
What other features can we expect?
We are planning a ton of awesome features, like NFT PFP integration, a matchmaking mode, a spectator mode where you can watch and wager on other people's games, chat integration, and a mobile version of the game. Not all features will be in the initial release, but we will continue updating!
What is MoonsPong?
How can I trust this?
All transfers of funds are completely trustless and built on smart contracts on the Arbitrum Nova chain. All bets are held in escrow wallets, which are released to the appropriate wallets upon completion of the game.
We are in the process of getting our smart contracts audited, and will be releasing these results before we go public!
How do bets work?
To start a game, you can either directly challenge another player and propose a bet. Or, you can start a game and add it to the lobby with your proposed bet. Other players can see a list of proposed games in the lobby and if they accept the bet, they can join too!
The winner gets 95% of the total pot. 3% of the pot is BURNED. 2% of the pot goes to the MoonsPong team to cover overhead and development costs.
So, for example: You start a game in the lobby and propose a 50 $MOON bet. Someone accepts and joins your game. There are now 100 $MOON in the pot. The winner will receive 95 $MOON, 3 $MOON will be burned, and 2 $MOON will go to the MoonsPong team.
We are currently accepting applications to beta test the game. The beta test will start in early October. Once we know that everything is working perfectly, we will be releasing publicly (most likely in late October/early November)
If you'd like to join the beta test, sign up with your email and we will send you instructions!
